Cupids Arrow
It's almost Valentines girls! If you are hosting your hen party this month then you must check out our Cupids Arrow theme.
Food and drink
Incorporate this theme when it comes to planning food and drink. Here are some great ideas;
- Cupids doughnut hole arrow: This is basically a skewer with doughnut balls stuck through it. To decorate this skewer, stick a glitter arrow on the top. This would also be great with grapes and cheese instead of doughnut balls. Yum!
- Cupids sweet arrows: Stick a Haribo heart on the end of a pretzel stick. Make the fletching part by cutting the shape into some sour belts and stick this to the pretzel using a tiny bit of icing.
- Heart-shaped fruit: Cut out heart shapes into fruit such as strawberries, apple and kiwis.
- Chocolate strawberries: Nothing says romance better than chocolate strawberries girls! These can be purchased or easily made yourself.
Lay all these goodies out on a table for guests to tuck into. Make sure you keep the bubbly flowing for all the hens at this party. Sweets and Prosecco - a winning combination.
Games
- How many kisses: Place a certain number of Hershey kisses chocolates into a clear mason jar. Pass this jar around to the hens and ask them to guess how many is inside. The winner gets the jar and all the chocolates. Yum!
- Cupcake decorating: Lay out some cupcakes on a table with lots of fun decorations like icing, sprinkles and edible hearts. Guests can decorate their cupcake whatever way they want. Write cute or funny messages with the icing and cover in hearts and sprinkles. The bride-to-be can judge who's cupcake is the best.
Decor
When it comes to decor, don't hold back girls. Cover the room in pink and red hearts, arrows, flowers and balloons. The hearts and arrows can be made using cardboard, paint and glitter. Simply stick these to the walls using blue tack. Perfect! Keep the flowers and balloons red and pink for this theme. Hanging twinkly lights from the wall or table would also be fab with this theme. The more girly, the better!
So if you are celebrating your hen party around Valentine's day, keep this theme in mind!
