Barbie Hen Party

Decor

For this party think pink! Of course, :-) Think pink balloons, flowers and tablecloths. Just don't go overboard, girls. In this case, less is more. Introduce some other colours such as black or gold to the colour scheme. Create your own Barbie box using a large cardboard box and pink paint. If you cannot get your hands on a large box then a 'Barbie frame' will be perfect. Cut out the shape to resemble the Instagram frames and decorate. Paint it pink and write "X's Hen Party" on the bottom of the frame. This will be great for photos with the group!

Dress code

Ask guests to pick their favourite Barbie outfit and try and recreate that look. Go for vintage Barbie with a full-skirted dress and heels. Maybe you would like to dress as a nurse Barbie or sporty Barbie. The great thing about this theme is that there are so many options.

Favours

A cute idea would be to create favour bags for the hens. This could include toy necklaces, sweets and of course a Barbie. A nice idea would be to personalise each Barbie and gift ones with the same colour hair as the hens. Decorate this bag with stickers, glitter etc. and writing each hens name on the front. The more girly the better!
