Easy to Get To
Amsterdam is so close to Ireland with direct flights from Dublin, Cork and Belfast, nice. It's a short flight - about 90 mins and then a quick hop on the train and you're right in the heart of Amsterdam in no time at all. To make life easier Amsterdam airport is really easy to navigate unlike other gigantic European airports.
Nightlife
Amsterdam has a legendary night time scene where anything goes. If you are easily shocked, perhaps it's not for you. Take time to have a wander through the maze of streets, find a cool little bar to enjoy a drink in. There are some fantastic nightclubs here playing everything from Disco, to Funk and to Deep House. There is somewhere for everyone to dance in Amsterdam.
Pretty Canals
There are 165 canals in Amsterdam and life revolves around them. Enjoy lunch at a canalside eatery. Take a cruise along the canal or perhaps rent a little boat and do it yourself. Another really fun thing to do is to rent a bike and cycle around.
