Kinsale is an absolute dinger of a town for a hen party. Based down on the coast of County Cork it's a really popular venue for groups coming from Cork city. This is because it has such an international and cosmopolitan feel, even though its only 30 minutes from Cork city. Kinsale always has loads of visitors and so there is always a buzz around town. Thats why it's such a great spot for a Hen. Kinsale has everything. A hopping nightlife with loads of great pubs and venues for drinks. Plus a fantastic selection of activities. You can even rent a yacht! On top of this Kinsale is a beautiful place. If you are looking for a wow factor for the hen, Kinsale has it. And everything is located within walking distance which always make its so much more relaxing on a hen.
The Kinsale Rugby 7's
Kinsale has it's fair share of festivals all year around. But one of the best is the Heineken Kinsale Rugby 7's. And speaking as a girl that has been, it is might craic. The whole town just bursts out onto the streets. Live music, beer tents, visiting rugby teams. Need we say more. And just the best fun. It can be really hard to get accommodation at this time for obvious reasons so plan well ahead or even consider staying somewhere nearby like Carrigaline and organising transport. Kinsale was always known as the food capital of Ireland. With amazing restaurants like the famous Fishy Fishy, is it any wonder. There is loads of choice for food in Kinsale. Plus loads of gastro pubs. And regular pubs too! As we have said many times already there is just a great buzz in Kinsale for a hen party.
