*GO GOLFING
There are a range of golf courses along the coast and inland including Enniscrone, Carne Belmullet, Rosses Point & Ballina Golf Club making us one of the very best hotels in Mayo for golf breaks.


*GO FISHING
We are on the banks of the world famous River Moy which comprises Ireland's most prolific waters for salmon fishing Ireland. This magnificent river has produced over 7,000 salmon to the rod over the years 2001- 2006. The Ice House offers a variety of fishing including top class fly water, spinning and worming.


*GO SURFING
Whether you are a beginner or a pro there is surfing breaks in Mayo for everyone. Take lessons or simply rent the equipment you forgot to bring. The Ice House can recommend some local surf spots and swell ratings. There is a surf school close by in Enniscrone or further afield up to Strandhill.

*GO CRUSING
We can organise a cruise down the river as long as the temperamental tide allows it. This is subject to the time of year as the time of day - but is an absolutely great way to absorb the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
