Planning a Hen Party Survival Kit!
Planning a Hen Party Survival Kit!!
Everyone has had a hangover at least once in their life. And you know, the morning after a Hen Party can be dreadful. You, obviously, don’t want to ruin memories of an incredible night by spending your morning with a killer headache. This is where prior planning comes in handy and a Hen Party survival kit is a must.
If you’re planning a Hen Party, a hangover kit or a Hen Party Survival Kit is something you need to have in your arsenal. A Hangover Kit is basically a bag filled with everything you need for a smooth transition into sobering up. It can include hydrating drinks, paracetamol for nausea and headaches and light snacks(More on this later!)
Having a Hangover Kit ensures you can be, at least, somewhat functional to survive an early morning after a Hen. I mean, who runs the world? Girls! ;0) And the chats will need to take place. So a Hangover Kit will ensure your transition back to the real world is as smooth as last night’s Tequila. Hangover Kits are not only really practical, they are also a really sweet little gift to give everyone on the Hen Party.
If you’re currently planning your Hen Party and having the lols, a Hangover Kit is a must.
Now that you’re convinced (we hope you are!) that you need a hangover kit, here is how to build one in 4 easy steps
1. Bags
Grab a bag to put the bits in and give to everyone. You can easily use small plastic or eco friendly sandwich bags. Or a simple paper bag will also work! There are many places that sell paper bags with little handles that would be perfect for a Hangover Kit. Or if you want to go the extra distance for the Bride, you can look into getting customised tote bags printed. Have a picture of the Bride printed on it with your wedding hashtag. It’ll serve as a reminder, 20 years down the line, of all the fun from the Hen!
2. Supermarket Trip
Take a trip to the supermarket and chemist! Once you have your bag ready, you need to take a trip to your local supermarket. You’ll need lots of little bits so that you’re covered for the morning after. We suggest getting:
- Granola Bars or Muesli bars
- Energy Drinks like Gatorade or Lucozade Sport
- Some plasters, in case of an emergency
- Paracetamol for Nausea and Headache
- Earplugs, for when you don’t want to hear the phone ringing off the hook
- Tonnes of water
- Chewing gum. To stop killer bad breath
3. Pack Light.
There’s no need to go overboard with these. Make sure that you pack smart. Don’t burden yourself with extra items thinking about the “What If’s” or every scenario that you need to cover. This is a cute thoughtful idea for the girls. Don’t get bogged down by it.
4. Enjoy!
Finally, party the night away! Don’t let anything stop you from enjoying your night and Hen Party. Some things may not go as planned. But, remember to go with the flow and soak in every minute of The Hen!
Don’t drink and drive and be safe. Have fun ladies! And always drink responsibly!
