Good Food Ireland

We can seat up to 50 people in one room on a private basis so you can party as much as you like and we have space for about 90 in the whole premises.


If you have prepared any favours, balloons or table decorations you are welcome to drop them to us prior to the party and we will decorate your table with the personalised touch!


We have great value three course and five course set menus available and also the A La Carte Menu. Another great option is to have mixed tapas plates of seafood, meats and desserts; this sets a very relaxed atmosphere and there's sure to be something for everyone. If you have any requests or preferences just talk to us and we can make a custom made menu to suit any budget. Special dietary requirements can be incorporated to any menu.






Hells Kitchen Experience
Fancy a fun night where you hand on involved in preparing, cooking and serving the meal. We have our chef who is happy to ensure you get the full Hells Kitchen experience. Helped along by the staff with fun quizzes, blind taste tests and games throughout the evening, a great team building event to ensure your Bride/ Groom will have a night to remember.


Cooking Class/ Cooking Demonstration
Need to brush up on cooking skills before that fateful walk down the aisle? Why not book a hands on cooking class with Richy, do you want to learn to cook the perfect party nibbles? Have you always wanted to learn how to prepare lobster? Contact us to arrange a full class for your party.


Wine Tasting
We can teach you how to appreciate wines, pair it with different food items and make simple the how to tell a top of the range bottle verse a plonk! Got a bride who likes her vino call us to arrange a fun tasting night to remember (or forget!).

The Food

We thrive on serving our guests with the best locally sourced produce and aim to meet our customers every need. It's not just about the food or the service separately but the whole package. The team at Richy's is dedicated to producing a dining experience where the guests feel relaxed and happy and receives fresh food prepared to a very high standard. Our menu offers a variety of dishes incorporating seafood, salads, small bites, steaks and desserts.

Everything is made in house including bread, biscotti and salad dressings. We recently served Spaghetti with Bantry Bay clams in tomato and chilli sauce, only hours after they were gathered from the shore. When possible all seafood is sourced from local fishermen.

Our menus change seasonally. Being in West Cork we are spoiled with wonderful artisan producers such as Ummera Smoked Products from whom we have smoked duck breast and smoked salmon; Edward Twomey's famous Clonakilty black pudding; Devoy's Organic Farm vegetables and fruit and Dave Bushby's wonderful Rosscarbery strawberries to name but a few!

Diners are tempted with weekly changing specials boards and a well thought wine list. We offer about 30 different wines, enough to have a good choice but not too many to scare one off.

The Dining Room

Richy's Restaurant offers a warm and relaxing atmosphere where one can sip a glass of wine from the bar and chat with friends. The dining area is in two sections with bright colourful walls, a small bar area and dark wooden tables. To one side is an opening to the Kitchen where Richy and his team can be seen creating your gastronomic delight!

Holding up to 100 guests, there is a great buzz about the place. Richy's is a restaurant where locals and tourists return again & again. With the restaurant being in two sections, Richy's can cater for evening dinners, private functions or for someone looking for a quiet corner.
