Adventure West’s mission is to offer you and your friends a fun day out, in very safe hands while getting the adrenaline pumping (in a good way!).

They offer a range of exciting adventure activities along the coastline of Clew Bay (from Westport to Clare Island). Choose from both land-based and water activities, and spend anything from an hour up to a full day having the craic.

No previous experience is required for any of the activities on offer – experienced and friendly instructors will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable day. All necessary equipment, including wetsuits where appropriate, is provided.

Choose from land-based or water activities – and if you can’t choose then why not combine the two!

In the Clew Bay area, they offer Rock-climbing & Abseiling, Coasteering (rock-scrambling combined with cliff-jumping & adventure swimming), Kayaking along the Wild Atlantic coastline, Snorkelling, Archery, Bushcraft Skills, Orienteering, Raft-building & Racing and a host of team-building challenges.

A really popular choice for hen parties is our Fun Sports Day event – your classic school sports day with a few added extras!!!

And if all of the above sounds like a tad too much adrenaline, they can also organise a guided hike for groups of various abilities.
