Two Hen Party Activities That Go Well Together - Part 1

2 Dec 2019

Every now and then you find two hen party activities that go really well together and it ends up making the hen party go a lot better because of how smoothly everything flows. Whether it’s the location that makes the two activities work or whether it’s the group, what matters is that a lot of fun comes along with the activities and everyone ends up having a great time!

That’s why we’ve come up with the idea to start a weekly series on two activities that go well together and in the first part, we’re going to focus on Glamping and Hiking! So carry on reading and maybe these two activities might be the perfect mix for you and your group of ladies. Here’s our first part of Two Activities That Go Well Together!

But first off, what are they?

  1. Glamping

If luxurious camping sounds like your kind of thing then glamping is one to check out. Forget camping in the cold...forget camping in the rain! Glamping allows you to “camp out” comfortably no matter what way the weather is by providing you with stylish huts or cabins to set up in and also providing some extra comfort, warmth and space when compared to a standard tent.

  1. Hiking

The perfect idea for the adventurous hens or even the ones who are just into keeping fit, hiking is a fantastic choice! With plenty of amazing hiking trails available (all offering some beautiful scenery, views and more) no matter where you go, all you’ve got to do is bring your appropriate clothing and footwear and off you go.

Why they work well together:

  • Camping or glamping is normally done in quiet, open areas outside city bounds with plenty of scenery and space to wander around and take in some of the tranquillity of the natural surroundings.
  • Hiking is normally done in areas that are wide open with some beautiful views and the peacefulness of the natural environment.
  • Cliff walks, mountain hikes and hiking trails are all found in the countryside, where there are lots of open areas, and it just so happens that glamping areas are often found in the same places. You won’t have to travel far from your cabin or hut to find a hiking area and this is why we think glamping and hiking is a perfect mix of activities when they’re put together.

Leave your hut behind, set off on your adventure, take in some of the beautiful scenery and vistas that Ireland has to offer and then head back to your hut to enjoy the rest of the night with the ladies while you have a few drinks and some food while sitting around a nice, cosy fire. Bliss!

This is just one option for two activities that go well together and with the number of activities that are available for hen parties to take part in, the possibilities are endless!

Check out our Hen Party Packages now and we can get both of these activities included in your hen party plans!

We booked with henparty.ie back on 2019 but when Covid hit everything shut down!! We were finally able to go in March 2022 and any deposits and payments made were easily transferred which was great. Headed to Galway and we were booked in the imperial hotel…
