So if you are lucky enough to be having a Christmas Hen Party, why not check out some of our favourite Christmas Hen Party Cocktails. Cocktails are definitely not just for the summer they're for the Winter too ladies!

Blood Orange Christmas Punch

Start off the celebrations in style with a delicious Christmas Punch for the hen party! A Christmas Punch is a great idea as you can make it in batch and ahead of time. All that's left to do is enjoy it!
What you'll Need:
6 Blood Oranges (Can be hard to get but are in season in December)
2 Bottles of Pinot Grigio
Carbonated Water
Half Cup of Brandy
12 ounces of sliced strawberries
1 pint of raspberries
1 apple
Sugar (for decorating the glass)
How to Make It:
Zest one orange and mix with sugar until fragrant.
Juice four oranges. And chop the remaining ones into pieces.
In your pitcher combine the wine, brandy, blood orange juice, club soda, apples, strawberries, raspberries and blood oranges. And stir well.
Run a piece of orange or lemon on the rim of the glass and dip in the blood orange sugar.
Pour into the glasses and enjoy!

Old Fashioned

Whiskey is becoming the new gin lately, everyone seems to be having it so we couldn't have Christmas Cocktail recipes without a Whiskey based drink.
What you'll Need:
1 Tablespoon of fine sugar
2 to 3 dashes of bitters
2 ounces of whiskey/bourbon
Ice
Orange to garnish
How To Make It:
Put sugar in a whiskey glass.
Douse with bitters and add a couple of drops of water.
Add Whiskey and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Add some ice and stir completely.
Serve with a slice or twist of orange.

Bailey's Orange Bliss

It's not Christmas without a Bailey's so it's only right we included one of Bailey's very own recipes for their Bailey's Orange Bliss.
What you'll need:
50ml of Bailey's
25ml of Grand Marnier
Ice
How to Make it:
Fill your glass with ice and pour in your Bailey's.
Add in the Grand Marnier.
Stir until combined fully.
Add an orange twist for decoration if you wish.

Bridesmaids Blush Cocktail

This cocktail is one we only came across by chance recently but after giving it a try had to include it in this list. We're not sure where the name came from but this cocktail is delicious.
What you'll Need:
Prosecco.
Shot of Peach Schnapps.
Dash of Grenadine.
How to Make It:
Add the Peach Snapps and Grenadine into a prosecco/ champagne glass and stir lightly.
Fill with Prosecco until the glass is full. If they don't combine give the drink only a light stir to avoid getting rid of the fizz.

Mulled Wine

Christmas just isn't Christmas without Mulled Wine! Mulled Wine is so easy to make and is a crowd favourite. Here's one of our favourite recipes for this classic holiday drink.
What you'll Need:
1 bottle red wine (a cheap red is perfect, no need to splash out!)
2 cinnamon sticks
1 orange, sliced into rounds.
1/4 cup brandy (optional)
1/4 cup honey or sugar.
8 whole cloves.
2 cinnamon sticks.
2 star anise.
How to make it;
Put all of your ingredients into a pot and allow them to heat through
Don't allow your ingredients to come to the boil
Leave sitting on the stove/hob to keep warm until serving
Have we included your favourite Christmas cocktail above or are you going to try some of these out over the holiday season? Let us know ladies!
