This week’s query comes in from Rose, some of the bride’s friends have never met
“Hi Claire, I’m the maid of honour for my bestie Rachel. I’m organising a big hen, about 30 of us, (as per request from the bride) and loads of the girls don’t know each other. Her home and college friends have met a few times but none of us really know her work pals or her future sisters in law. I need to make sure that everything runs smoothly and all the girls mingle, how?!”
Choosing the right activity is the key to getting all the girls chatting. Sculpt a Willy or Paint a Nude are always great to bring the girls out of their comfort zone.
I would always suggest a few hen party games to get everyone talking as well. They don’t have to be drinking games but ones, where everyone gets involved, are perfect eg Mr & Mrs, Henparty Mad Libs, Pass the Parcel! Have a look here for all our ideas https://www.henparty.ie/Games.a...
Finally, make sure all the girls make the effort to mix with people they don’t know, the bride will be delighted that all her friends are getting on so well!

Hi Rose, this is very very common among hen parties, so absolutely no need to stress. Most of the time on a hen everyone won’t know each other and that’s perfectly fine. The hen party gives all the most important ladies in the bride’s life a chance to mix before the wedding day.Choosing the right activity is the key to getting all the girls chatting.
