Image of Claire From Hen Party
This weeks query comes in from Muireann, how to make the hen do classy?

“Hi Claire, I’m planning a hen for my bestie Annmarie happening this June. We were on a hen a few months back and it was the typical hen party, willy accessories, strippers and hot pink everywhere you look. She told me that this is that last thing she wants her hen to be, so how will I make it a classy affair? Please, please help, I’ve only a month left to go”

Claire’s Advice
Hi Muireann, thanks a mill for the question. It’s always difficult to figure out whether you should go out and out classic hen party or whether to go down the elegant and classy route. The hard part for you is already decided you know the bride wants class so the next steps are easy!

Creating a classy hen party does not mean a boring hen party! There are so many ways to bring a bit of style to the brides last day of freedom. Accessories are great, there are tonnes of really beautiful accessories out there from vintage, floral, hessian and so much more. These are all perfect for a chic bride.

The activity is also crucial, pick something like afternoon tea, a day at the races or a photoshoot. These activities are so much fun and really, really classy!

Creating a classy hen party is all in the little details, games, small gifts and nice ideas are the way to throw a hen party the bride will remember forever!

We booked with henparty.ie back on 2019 but when Covid hit everything shut down!! We were finally able to go in March 2022 and any deposits and payments made were easily transferred which was great. Headed to Galway and we were booked in the imperial hotel…
