Black Magic Margaritas

These are perfect for a Halloween hen party or any party mind you! 
 
You Will Need: 
  • 1/3 c. Black sanding sugar
  • Ice
  • 4 oz. silver tequilla
  • 2 oz. triple sec
  • 1/2 c. lime juice
  • Red food coloring
  • Blue food coloring
  • Green food coloring
  • Lime slices, for garnish
 
How to Make: 
 
  1. Rim the top of two glasses with a lime slice, then dip the rim in the black sanding sugar.
  2. Divide tequila, triple sec, and lime juice between two glasses and stir to combine. 
  3. Add food coloring until desired black color is achieved.
  4. Add ice and garnish with a slice of lime. 
  5. Serve!

 

Zombie Cocktail Recipe

This one tends to catch people off-guard due to how how strong it is. This is all down to the shot of 151 Rum floating on top!
 
You Will Need: 
 
  • 1 oz. light rum
  • 1 oz. dark rum
  • 1 oz. apricot liquor
  • 2 oz. orange juice
  • 1 dash lime Bitters
  • 1 handful ice
  • 1 oz. Bacardi 151 Rum
  • Orange slice and cherry, for garnish
 
How to Make: 
 
  1. Combine light rum, dark rum, apricot liquor, orange juice, and bitters using a cocktail shaker.
  2. Pour into a large glass filled with ice. 
  3. Top with the shot of Bacardi 151.
  4. Garnish with the orange slice and cherry.
  5. Serve!

 

Boozy Apple Cider

This one takes a little longer to make than the others, but ladies it is so worth it! And will look very impressive laid out on a tray for your friends to pick up at your hen party.
 
You Will Need: 
 
  • 1 gal. apple cider
  • 1 1/2 c. whiskey
  • 1/2 c. Caramel
  • 3 cinnamon sticks, plus more for garnish
  • 8 apples
  • Lemon juice, for brushing
  • Orange slice and cherry, for garnish
 
How to Make: 
 
  1. In a Crock-Pot, combine apple cider, whiskey, cinnamon sticks, and caramel. Cook on low until warmed through, about 2 to 3 hours.
  2. Make apple cups: Slice off the top of each apple. Use an apple corer to remove the inside of the apple until you’re about 1/2" from the bottom of the apple. 
  3. Squeeze lemon juice inside the apple cups to prevent apples from browning.
  4. Ladle hot cider into apple cups. Garnish with cinnamon sticks, and serve immediately.
 

Sweet Poison Cocktail Recipe

This recipe was launched by the mixologists at New York's Jekyll and Hyde Club. This is one of the clubs most popular cocktails and perfect for the Halloween Themed Hen Party!
 
You Will Need: 
 
  • 1 oz. light rum
  • 2 oz. coconut rum
  • 1 oz. Blue Curacao
  • 1 handful ice
  • Pineapple juice
  • Pineapple wedge (for garnish)
 
How to Make: 
 
  1. Combine both rums and Blue Curacao in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. 
  2. Shake, then pour into a cocktail glass.
  3. Fill the rest of the glass with chilled pineapple juice. 
  4. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
  5. Serve!
 

Jekyll & Gin Glowing Cocktails

You Will Need: 
 
  • 3 oz. Gin
  • 1/2 oz. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. grenadine
  • 1 handful ice
  • tonic water
 
How to Make: 
 
  1. Mix gin, lemon juice and grenadine in a cocktail shaker, give a little shake
  2. Pour into a large glass filled with ice.
  3. Top with tonic water. 
  4. Garnish with a glow stick (optional).
  5. Serve!
